Cairn Terrier Flirt
Well, I am still in the Fort Worth, Texas area and having fun visiting with my friends here. I stayed with my friend Helen, who I lived next door to for many years. She got a dog tabout 2 months ago that is 6 years old. The dog’s name is Flirt and she was born in Denmark and is a Cairn Terrier.
Flirt was raised and grew up living in a cage and not exposed to many people or freedom. So now, Flirt is learning to experience life and find all kinds of things to get into. She loves to take things and especially take them from inside the house to outside in the yard. Helen thinks her name should be Thief, not Flirt.

Tissue boxes, toilet paper rolls, shoes, etc. are fair game and new toys for Flirt. She takes them into the yard and chews them up. We saw the evidence.

If we don’t keep an eye on our shoes, they seem to disappear or move. Flirt is very cute though and it’s easy to forgive her. Helen was looking for her lint brush the other day and we couldn’t find it. The next day when we were in the backyard, guess what was there??? A lint brush.
I’ve also been staying with a friend named Ruth for a few days and catching up on life with her and her daughter. Tonight my friend Sue and I are going to a local Relay For Life event in Benbrook near Ft. Worth and then the middle of next week I go back to Waco and have my air conditioner/heat pump switch replaced. It’s old and only works once in a while on air conditioner.
October is the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and I just made my RV reservation to attend the event again this year. I will also be volunteering so it should be fun.
