I arrived in the RV park Monday morning. Phil a RV repair man who was also here last year was on site. I talked with him about the check light on my fridge lighting up. He checked some things and determined my propane regulator needed to be set higher. That fixed the problemc thankfully.
Wednesday morning I nolticed some boxes under my dining table were wet. I went and got Phil to look at where it was coming from. My water pump which is under a bench is leaking so he replaced it. I am so thankful that he is here to fix RVs and I got here early in the week before he got busy. I got towels and got up as much water as I could. Now it has to air dry before I can put things where they were and also put the board back over the bench and stack my things on it.
Today my friend Ellen came and we went to lunch, it was nice to get away for a while.
Friday morning Scott the balloon pilot is inflating his balloon at a school so I will go help. I have to be ready by 5:45 AM. Beginning Saturday, tomorrow, I have to be up at 4 AM daily to crew and volunteer at the Balloon Discovery Center. This should be interesting, I’m used to sleeping till about 8 AM.
High winds are expected this weekend for balloon fiesta opening, this will affect balloons inflating and flying. They can’t do anything if winds are close to 20 mph. Its pretty windy now, my camper is rocking.
One of the RV park volunteers was really nice and offered to let me take a shower in his RV. Today while he was working I. Took him up on the offer. It feels great to be really clean. I had my hair washed at Super Cuts the other day and I have been washing up using soap, water, and a washcloth. A real shower was wonderful.
