New Posts and Photos – July 19, 2011

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a month since I left Florida on  Tuesday, June 20, 2011. Time has passed quickly and I’ve been blessed to have done so much in the past 30 days. I am grateful every day for this opportunity.

I drove into Auburn this morning to update my website posts, and to also upload photos to the Photo Gallery page.  It seems to take me almost 3 hours to update the website and post photos for a 3 day update.  That’s counting when I have the narratives already typed and just have to copy and paste them and add photos, and upload photos to the gallery.  I’m happy to do it, not only does it give me something to do, because I have the time and I guess my new “job” besides having fun and also relaxing is to do the posts which are really fun for me and they help me to remember my trip and to look for things to write about as I go through my day. It also gives me something to do at night since I don’t have tv, etc. I have read a few books lately.

Many of you have let me know how much you enjoy reading my stories of what I have seen and done, and also looking at the pictures.

So, as of today, my travels are up to date.  The pow wow is this weekend, the next stop is LaConner, WA, here is a link to the site telling about this amazing experience: https://paddletoswinomish.com/

I am really enjoying your trip. The photos are awesome and your stories amusing. I don’t think I could take the cold and damp as long as you can tho, espeically with no heat. Take care, looking forward to more 🙂 Renee’

It is fun to remember many of the sites and experiences that we share. I lurk a lot, but think of you every morning! Paula
