Avatar or Smurf??? And Funny Poem

July 11, 2011

We came home  and I had to defrost the fridge in my camper. Since I have been on the road for 3 weeks it seemed to need it. This is the longest time I have ever had the fridge on, my longest previous time was 2 weeks. Guess this is going to become a regular chore. My laundry is all clean now which is really great.

When I took the stuff out of the freezer, the blue ice pack evidently leaked and the ice in my ice cube tray, my bag of frozen spinach, and other items, and the inside of my small freezer were blue. Needless to say, by taking out the frozen items my hands and fingers also turned blue.  I wiped everything I could to get rid of the blue dye and I put the blue ice pack in a plastic bag.  My hands and fingers are various shades blue, and in really interesting patterns. It won’t wash off so I guess I will be fading back to skin color eventually.  I also had a cut on my finger from the ice on the fridge fins so my fridge had blue dye and red blood all over the inside which I had to clean up.

Now my big decision of the day is whether I want to be an Avatar or a Smurf since they are both blue. Patt thinks Avatar and I think Smurf!!!  What do you think???

Patt gave me this poem and I thought you would enjoy it.
