Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

September 26, 2011

I got up this morning and said my prayers and gratitude for being alive and living the life I am. Today is my 61st birthday.

I decided that I needed to wash my hair and tryed to figure out how since I am conserving the water in my camper for my two wek stay at the balloon park, not knowing if they have water available there. The thought came to me that I could go to a beauty shop and have them wash my hair…great thought. It just so happened there were two of them in the shopping center where I parked for the, night and I didn’t even know it until I got out and looked around. Coinsidence? I don’t think so. When the shop opened I got the wash and it felt good to have nice clean hair, it was 4 days since it was washed.

I did some grocery shopping, got gas and propane and headed to the RV park at the balloon fiesta. It is a big field and it turns out they put me in a spot near the bus shuttle and there is a water connection behind where I am parked.

Tuesday night I get my training to work at the Balloon Discovery Center. I am surprised that I have Internet connection here. I am using my phone and found the wi fi open so I took advantage of it to update my blog.
