Everything except for a few last minute items are packed. I’m still not sure it’s really sunk in that I am actually leaving on this trip. I have so many friends that are wishing me well and many of them wish they could come too. I’m looking forward to having new experiences and meeting new people. I don’t have any expectations on how it will be, so I will take it as it comes as the journey unfolds. My plans and route are written in sand, and may change as I travel. It’s nice to be flexible and open to seeing how the trip evolves.
My camper is packed full of things that should come in handy on the trip. I have clothes packed for all types of weather, and food that I can eat without having to cook such as beans, tuna, peanut butter, tortillas, etc. Thanks to one of my friends, I have lots of mangos in my fridge… they are such a wonderful treat.
I will update this site when I have Internet access and you can follow my route on the Travel Map page. Check the Photo Gallery page periodically to see new photos that I will be posting on Picasaweb and/or Snapfish.
Looking towards the future.
