Amelia Island, Florida

I have been visiting with my friend Cindy in Yulee, Florida, which is north of Jacksonville.  We are having a great time catching up, and of course eating.  We had a fantastic hamburger at a place called The Loop in Fernandina Beach. We also have driven over to Amelia Island several times. It’s a beautiful island with some very nice shops and very interesting buildings, many are old and historic.  We took a horse and buggy ride through the city and learned a lot about the folklore and history. We also saw the house where the movie Pippi Longstocking was filmed. There are beautiful old trees, and we also drove through Fort Clinch. It was late in the afternoon so we did not get to explore the fort, but we drove through most of the park. Here is an album of photos I took.
